Stonewall Montelena

*Monte 378 (Sport) x Stonewall Fantasia by *Atlantis

Stonewall Montelena is the fourth daughter of Stonewall Fantasia we have retained to work for Access Adventure, and the first to be sired by the World Champion Friesian stallion *Monte 378 (Sport). Foaled in 2016, this striking black leopard filly is the only one of her kind in the world.

Now in training under the direction of Michael Muir, in the hands of Randie Boardman, Montelena has a bright future in ridden and driven dressage, therapeutic horsemanship and as a future broodmare. She is a delight to train, exceptionally willing and quick to catch on to new things. She has mastered all the basic verbal commands, completely at liberty. Montelena is a lovely mover and will be a breath-taking show horse.

Montelena is a big, robust filly of baroque character, with correct, beautifully balanced conformation. We were so pleased with the results of this unique cross that we repeated it and bred all three of Fantasia’s other daughters to *Monte for 2018 foals. Our reward was three extraordinary foals, including the exciting stallion prospect Stonewall Montezuma.

With the proven performance and broad depth of pedigree Montelena carries, she is one to watch as her promising career unfolds.
